ABOUT

THE TIME ALCHEMIST

Hi, it’s me – Monique Lindner.
You may have seen or heard of me (or not, that’s cool, too) and people may have referred to me as the one who is obsessed with Yellow (and pineapples – yes even on pizza) – but I have made the conscious decision to choose my own label:
The Time Alchemist.

On this page, I want to share a bit about my background and why this “label” is simply the best for me.

Why dying – saved my life.

I died: of a cardiac arrest by age 19.
For over 6 years straight, I overworked, stayed in toxic environments for way too long, didn’t listen to my body, didn’t sleep longer than 2-4 hours a night, and didn’t have any boundaries nor values
(even though my 19-year old self would try to tell you differently).

So one hectic day in 2006 between 2 out of 3 jobs I was working on that day –
I broke down with a migraine attack & epileptic seizure.
My heart stopped beating and I left my body & was clinically dead – for about 25 seconds

(as my doctor declared the next day).

Waking up, the first heart beat was one of the most painful things I experienced in many ways.

It was physically painful to feel my heart beat again after it already tapped out. The first beat felt like a ton of bricks hit my chest. It was also spiritually painful as I have just experienced another dimension, being out of body and I KNEW I am not on the right path. I was wasting my life by the day.

On top of that it was mentally painful because I truly believed I was invincible – and while I still didn’t die (phew!) – this was a big hit to my ego.

In the years to come, and many more lessons to learn on that path, I made it my purpose to find ways to work on my own terms, breaking society’s rules, going against every current possible (quite literally, too), designing a life and business that works for me – and finally sharing all of what I have learned!

I am sharing this with you, so you can skip to the good part (and please skip the cardiac arrest, too) of designing your business & life of your wildest dreams
– without having to make all of the mistakes along the way!

About 2

WE CARE. AND WE DON’T TAKE THAT LIGHTLY.

One of the very first things that I do with my clients is – determine their core values. The ones that are non-negotiable. While mine are Truth, Energy, Impact & Integration, one of my core truth is that I am here to help entrepreneurs build & grow sustainable businesses that create social impact in this world.

This is only possible when we create a safer, more just, more equitable world with access & opportunities for all – hence why I believe that these principles on the left are a non-negotiable standard I am doing my very best to live every day (I am a human too and make mistakes) and that I teach my clients to integrate into their lives & businesses aligned with their truth.

Time Alchemy is for everyone:
I will share my wisdom on your podcast & speak at your event

“Every piece of advice I’ve received has been right on the money”

Running your own business isn’t easy. There are always a bazillion things trying to stop you from being successful (like, hiring risks… productivity killers… and at times, your own headspace.)

When I face one of these, I bring them to Monique. I’m yet to ever have her “stumped”.

She’s regarded as the best high-performance coach for good reason. Every piece of advice I’ve received has been right on the money…

so yeah, I recommend getting as close to Monique as you can.

“She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being”

I went into the big move session for help with clarity on vision goals and to get in what I do as a marketing coach to the next level because whether we realize it or not, we all have limits and ceilings and walls that close in.

… And Monique is truly gifted in how she does that. She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being and just calling you out on what’s actually holding you back.

I was bombarded with so much value in the session. It was it was Outstanding, outstanding.

THE ‘HARD’ FACTS

While I am not a person to prove my ‘worth’ (in business regards) to others, skills, knowledge, and wisdom – I know it’s important to understand where people get their expertise from, so I want to share the highlights of my previous career with you:

I started working at age 13, due to personal circumstances.

By age 15 I had started my first business, organizing in-person marketing campaigns & street events, leading teams of up to 8 people – this got me into the events & project management direction

I kept working for different agencies, freelancing as a make-up artist and dancer as well as shift leader of a petrol station while I was in high school.

I successfully completed 2 University degrees:
1| International Events- & Project Management
2| Language Correspondence EN/GER

At age 19 I moved to London to help organize the London Design Festival, my main responsibility has been the organization, listing & coordination of 300+ vendors as well as the opening ceremony for 2000+ VIP members including Zaha Hadid & the Swarovski Siblings.

At the age of 22, I was hired as (one of the youngest) team leader for Siemens Enterprise Networks IT 2nd level support for their worldwide 25.000+ employees. My main tasks were to manage, coach & train the team. To assess, adjust & set up a complex new system and processes for the team of 160 to work on their daily tasks & reduce working hours as well as minutes per ticket/call.

At the age of 23, I got officially certified as Supervisor & Coach after a year-long in-person program (that I participated in in my free time).

At age 24 I built, hired & trained 140 people for Apple Online Sales & Support for Europe. We offered 5 languages (of which I spoke 3). I was then Supervising the Sales Team for a year.

I then moved to one of the most reputable Social Media (later Digital Marketing) Agencies in Germany, working as a Project & Account Manager. In peak season I managed up to 10 clients with each up to 3 active projects. Some of them had million-dollar budgets in a 3-month range.

As you can see, this is only the Highlight Reel of my work history.

Over the past 20+ years, I have studied my skills, deepened my knowledge consistently, keep adding on tools, techniques, and methods from other areas such as neuroscience, brain health, somatics & human behavior, and most of all:

I have a lot of unique real-life experiences that give me insights & perspectives like no other.
I have experienced burnout including a spinal injury.
I was bullied at work & had to deal with the aftermath.
I have been harassed, threatened, robbed, abused, assaulted, and more.
I have traveled solo to 45+ countries & lived in 9 of them (so far).

I have built my business from 0 (by bartering skills) after being made bankrupt (I was robbed) & having to work all day in a job with a horrible work environment just to pay my rent.

I have tried, tested & refined any and all methods and tools I use (whether or not I still use them) to make sure they work!

I have also written my book “The T.I.M.E. Method – a no bullsh*t approach to creating more time” during the first lockdown from 1st word to publishing within only 4 months proving the framework I am writing about, during the writing process
… and the list goes on.

And I did all this with 30ish years of neurological dis-ease causing excruciating pain (migraines, nerve pain, seizures) … often times multiple times a week.

This is only to say: I know my sh*t. And now you hopefully know that, too.
