ABOUT

THE TIME ALCHEMIST

Monique Lindner, aka The Time Alchemist, was born in former East Germany with two chronic health challenges, yet she started to work by age 13. This potent mixture led to her dying of a cardiac arrest by age 19 & being clinically dead for 25 seconds.

Monique is an adventurous spirit on the autism spectrum who’s mission it is to redefine work by creating a human-centred work-culture that encourages mindfulness, celebrates uniqueness, and creates sustainable growth for everyone involved.

Monique is the creator of The T.I.M.E. Method® and published her book under the same name in the first lockdown of 2020 – putting her own signature framework to the test.

She’s been featured in several top magazines such as Forbes, spoke at TedX and was interviewed on a range of diverse podcasts to share her wisdom and knowledge around Time & how we can Slow Down to Speed up.

About 2

Why dying – saved my life.

I died: of a cardiac arrest by age 19.
Why? Because I overworked, stayed in toxic environments for way too long, didn’t listen to my body, didn’t sleep, and didn’t have any boundaries nor values (even though my 19-year old would try to tell you differently).

On one faithful day in 2006, my heart stopped beating. I left my body & was clinically dead
– For about 25 seconds

(as my doctor declared the next day).

Although I have leaned a lot along the way, I don’t wish this type of experience on anybody.
That is the reason why  I do what I do. Time Alchemy.
My mission is to bring mindful working as a culture into society, create sustainable remote team cultures &  design personal lifestyles that fulfil dreams.

It’s my passion & my responsibility to share as much of my wisdom, knowledge and skills with the world so we can achieve this mission and make the world a more mindful, peaceful & joyful place.
That’s why I love being invited to interviews, podcasts and speaking on stages. I have many topics I love speaking on and I am easy to adapt to any questions that come up. I’d love to share a few topics that come up a lot with you, that may be interesting for you and you audience, too:

Important Topics I speak on:

  1. Toxic Productivity:
How the hustle & grind culture has us stuck in a hamster wheel of faster, better, harder, stronger
    – with a smile (even when we want to cry)!

  2. Remote Teams:
How to create a high performing, yet mindful remote team culture your people will thrive in
  3. (Team) Performance:
How you are sabotaging your & your teams productivity and what to do instead
  4. A new era of work-life integration:
What shifts we need to make in our work & life to adapt to the ‘new normal’
  5. Dying saved my life:
Lessons learned after dying of a cardiac arrest, being clinically dead for 25 seconds &
what the out-of-body experience taught me
  6. Slow down to Speed up:
Why we need to learn to do less so we can get more done – and how to do so!

When it comes to ideal podcast guests, Monique Lindner is really the trifecta.  First of all, she is a captivating storyteller.  Secondly, she has had extraordinary life experiences and can share profound lessons and reflections on them which not only inspire but cause all of us to think deeper about our own lives.
And third, she’s a brilliant entrepreneur, time alchemist, and productivity wizard, who is able to drop specific tips during the podcast interview which provide massive value that listeners can start applying in their own life immediately.

4 years after interviewing Monique, I’m still repurposing clips from her interview today!”

“She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being”

I went into the big move session for help with clarity on vision goals and to get in what I do as a marketing coach to the next level because whether we realize it or not, we all have limits and ceilings and walls that close in.

… And Monique is truly gifted in how she does that. She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being and just calling you out on what’s actually holding you back.

I was bombarded with so much value in the session. It was it was Outstanding, outstanding.

How to create free time from life and business?

Connor Inch

“I rarely work evenings or weekends anymore”

I was definitely working too much. I wasn’t spending time with my kids and when I was, I was stressed and anxious about stuff that I should be doing. And I’ve been stuck in this pattern for years of just working all the time and not being able to focus. (…)

I made big improvements in mood and energy as well as being able to better manage my work & my workload as well. So things are more organized and less hectic. And I know what I’m doing each day and each week I know what to do and when it’s due. So that’s probably been one of some of the biggest things. Setting realistic deadlines for clients as well. Standing up for myself as well like not taking sh*t from clients as much. That’s been a big thing. There are lots of things you notice, the improvement in mood and energy and work-life balance means having a better relationship, better time with kids, and less stress.
