ABOUT

THE TIME ALCHEMIST

Hi, it’s me – Monique Lindner.
You may have seen or heard of me (or not, that’s cool, too) and people may have referred to me as “The Yellow Lady” or “The Pineapple Lady” – well I am still obsessed with both of them – but I have made the conscious decision to choose my own label:
The Time Alchemist.

On this page, I want to share my full story, all of my achievements in their full glory.

THE BIOGRAPHY OF MONIQUE LINDNER

Monique Lindner, aka The Time Alchemist, is a Holistic High Performance Lifestyle Design and Leadership Coach & Consultant, Writer, TEDx Speaker, Change-Maker, and an adventurous spirit on the autism spectrum.

She was born in former East Germany with two chronic health challenges that led her to develop her superpowers very early in life: time alchemy.

As a child, she experienced a lot of excruciating pain, oftentimes many days a week. Monique figured out very early that time is a very important resource that we can not recreate – so she started to create many different ways of using it creatively and wisely when she wasn’t in pain in order to get all of her chores done, eg. school work, cleaning her room, practicing for her ballet lessons. This gave her time and space for the times she was in a lot of pain so that she could recover instead of having to do all the work then.

She created incredible ways of being efficient and shifted time and space in new ways to make her life easier.

By the age of 13, she started taking on jobs besides being in high school, due to family circumstances.

Despite the pain and the constant hospital visits and the horrendous side effects of her chronic health issues, Monique started her first own business, organizing in-person marketing campaigns & street events, leading teams of up to 8 people by age 15 while also working 2 other jobs and attending high school.

Monique stepped into leadership roles very early on which gave her tremendous learning opportunities in the realms of team leadership, organization and process management.

She attended university while working 2 jobs and running her business – after 4 years she successfully completed two University degrees:
1) International Events- & Project Management
2) Language Correspondence for ENG/GER

Although she knew this lifestyle wasn’t healthy and sustainable for a long while, after 6 years of non-stop working 18-20 hours a day, life taught her a painful lesson:
Monique died of a cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 25 seconds, she was only 19 years old.

This led her to change her life in many ways for the years to come and in ways, she couldn’t have imagined by this time.

She started traveling as one big revelation was, that her life was simply not fulfilling and wasn’t the life she wanted to live.

So Monique started to follow her heart and do what she really craved doing, and traveling was one of these things.

Not long after the cardiac arrest, she moved to London to help organize the London Design Festival. At just about 20 years old, her main responsibilities were the organization, listing & coordination of 300+ vendors as well as the opening ceremony for 2000+ VIP members including Zaha Hadid & the Swarovski Siblings. She worked directly with the festival orga team and put her newly acquired skills from university to the test – the 2007 London Design Festival was a success, to say the least.

In 2009, at the age of 22, Monique was hired as (one of the youngest) team leader for Siemens Enterprise Networks IT 2nd level support. The team supported the in-house IT needs of their 25.000+ employees worldwide.

Her main responsibilities were managing, coaching & training the team on new processes, mindset, team culture, and performance. She also assessed, adjusted & set up a complex new system and new processes for the team of 160 to work on their daily tasks & reduce working hours as well as minutes per ticket/call.

Monique went on to get officially certified as Supervisor & Coach at 23, after a year-long in-person program that she attended in her free time.

After spending over a year building systems, and processes and training the team at SEN, Monique went on to build, hire & train 140 people for the Apple Online Sales & Support team for Europe. The team worked in 5 languages (of which Monique spoke 3). After the built-up phase, she went on to work as the team leader for the European Apple Sales Team for a year.

After years in IT, Monique changed industries and was hired by one of the most reputable Social Media (later Digital Marketing) Agencies in Germany, working as a Project & Account Manager. In peak season she managed up to 10 clients with each up to 3 active projects. Some of them had million-dollar budgets for a 3 months range.

In all her years of working in the German Corporate, Agency & Start-Up World, Monique has been able to build a tremendous career for herself despite a lifetime of neurological dis-ease causing excruciating pain (migraines, nerve pain, seizures) … often times multiple times a week for weeks and months without a beak.

Monique went on to experience living & working in 9 countries worldwide.
Over the past 20+ years, she has studied many different skills, deepened her knowledge consistently, added on tools, techniques, and methods from diverse areas, and keeps studying the advancements in fields such as neuroscience & human behavior.

We could write a whole book to include everything in this bio necessary to understand why Monique is such an extraordinary person to work with and be around. And maybe she’ll do that one day.

Yet, her extensive real life experience speaks for itself:
*
1| Monique experienced & recovered from clinical burnout syndrome including a severe spinal injury

2| She was bullied at work by teammates & supervisors and learned how to navigate these types of situations

3| Monique experienced harassment, assault (incl. sexual assault), and more and worked through the trauma that occurred through these experiences

4| Monique has traveled solo to 45+ countries by age 35 and has many incredible, fun, weird, surprising, a little shocking, but mostly wonderful stories to tell about these experiences

5| She has built her business from 0 after being robbed and going bankrupt as a result. She worked all day in a job with a horrible work environment just to pay her rent and worked to build her business at night

6| Even though everyone said it was impossible (especially due to her medical issues) – she has trained and successfully been licensed as an official Stress & Rescue Scuba Dive Instructor (Level 2).

7| Monique has tried, tested & refined any and all methods and tools that she uses (whether or not she still uses them) to make sure they actually work!

8| In 2020 while in the middle of the first lockdown, living in a foreign country, Monique wrote her first book The T.I.M.E. Method. She went from writing the 1st word to publishing within only 4 months proving the framework that the book is about works.

All of these experiences got her to where and who she is today: The Time Alchemist.

Monique was always laser-focused on results, rather than shiny objects. No matter if the things she did sounded like something that doesn’t fit into her path – yet everything has made her stronger, built upon her core values, and helped her grow her mindset, leadership abilities, energy & time management skills.

In 2017 Monique spoke at TEDx Chiang Mai about her experience of turning pain into power, telling her personal story of sexual assault in front of a live audience to share how capable we are to move through any and all of our hardships.

She continues to spread this message through writing & public speaking, specifically about her experiences with death and being out-of-body – and what she learned and how she has grown from these very difficult transformations.

In her work, she focuses on building solid leadership skills, and improving the teams’ & leaders’ mindset, so that together they can create a massive impact.

Monique now works with entrepreneurs & business leaders including their teams of up to 160 people to help them adapt to the new ways of working and living in a (mostly) remote world.

With her unique framework The T.I.M.E. Method® and her motto ‘Slow Down to Speed Up’, she is on a mission to help business owners take back control of their time and energy and grow impactful and sustainable businesses.

By integrating the 4 pillars of The T.I.M.E. Method®, Monique has helped her clients cut up to 50% of working hours while doubling and tripling their revenue. Her work also resulted in significantly reducing stress, anxiety, and overwhelm while building a lifestyle of freedom.

Her big mission in life is to dismantle societal systems and structures that keep us in an invisible cage and rebuilt new structures that allow us to experience personal freedom.

Monique’s life mission is to share the power of Time Alchemy as far and wide as possible.

Time Alchemy is the courage of breaking your life and business down into the single pieces of its existence, looking at the patterns you are living and moving within daily.

It is the art of leaving what is not serving you, finding those pieces that support you, your needs & desires, and designing new ones to create a whole new way of being.

Time Alchemy is the science of restructuring your life and business so it will serve you in the best possible ways, to fulfill you, bring you joy, ignite your passion and enrich your life (and bank accounts!).

As your guide, Monique is here to help you transform everything that is not serving you, into a life & business that lets you thrive.

“Every piece of advice I’ve received has been right on the money”

Running your own business isn’t easy. There are always a bazillion things trying to stop you from being successful (like, hiring risks… productivity killers… and at times, your own headspace.)

When I face one of these, I bring them to Monique. I’m yet to ever have her “stumped”.

She’s regarded as the best high-performance coach for good reason. Every piece of advice I’ve received has been right on the money…

so yeah, I recommend getting as close to Monique as you can.

“She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being”

I went into the big move session for help with clarity on vision goals and to get in what I do as a marketing coach to the next level because whether we realize it or not, we all have limits and ceilings and walls that close in.

… And Monique is truly gifted in how she does that. She has a way of really seeing deep into you as a human being and just calling you out on what’s actually holding you back.

I was bombarded with so much value in the session. It was it was Outstanding, outstanding.
